Women’s Ski Goggles for A Better Fit

Women’s ski goggles are made for a woman’s face.  Sounds kinda obvious doesn’t it?  Until fairly recently, though, ski and snowboard goggles were pretty much a unisex piece of equipment.  Manufacturers have finally figured out that women spend just as much time playing in the snow as guys and that we’re even pickier about our gear!  So now most manufacturers have a product line devoted to women’s products that are sized and designed with a woman’s face in mind.

Women’s faces are generally smaller than mens.  In the past we’ve had to make do with kids goggles that really didn’t have the technical details we wanted or with goggles made for guys that were often too big.  It’s not just that a lot of women need smaller goggles, but need goggles with a different shape.  Men’s faces are wider and so are their noses a lot of the time.  We need goggles that fit our narrower bone structure and still allow us to see without falling off when we turned our heads  or fogging up because they don’t fit our faces.

Manufacturers have finally figured out that women play hard too and we need our own gear, not just cut down versions of guy gear.  We tend to be pickier about what we want and are willing to spend what we need to get what we really want.  Yes, we want lighter frames, but we want sturdy too.  We want all the same technical details of unisex goggles, but who says we have to put up with ugly!  Pink shouldn’t mean the equipment doesn’t hold up in the pipe or keep our vision clear in the powder.

The lines of womens ski goggles available now are really made with women in mind.  The manufacturers have taken into consideration what we want; good fit, good quality, durability, and Style!  Just because you out ride the boys, doesn’t mean you have to look like one too!  Ski goggles for women now come in more variety of color and size so we have more to choose from with the same technical features we need.  No more cheap “ladies lenses” that only last for part of a season and fog up every time you get breathing just a bit hard.

Today’s women’s ski goggles are made for hard riding and good fit with some fun thrown in as well!

Because we all have our own style and needs, I’ve put together this selection of goggles made specifically for women.  Some brands, like the Oakley Stockholm, are high end technical gear made for a woman who spends serious time on the snow.  There are others that are not as high priced or as high quality for women who only use them occasionally or are just starting out in a snow sport and still not sure what they want or need.  I’ve arranged the goggles I’ve collected by manufacturer.  Some manufacturers have more than one style of women’s ski goggles, some just one in different color frames and lenses.  I haven’t listed all the variations of lenses and frame colors, click on the style you’re interested in for more information and you’ll be taken to where you can see all the available colors and lenses.

Keep in mind, I’ve only listed the goggles specifically sized for women.  If you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for don’t overlook the other goggles by the same maker that may be what you’re looking for.  Some of them are sized S/M/L as well and may be exactly what you’re looking for.  You can find them by clicking on the main listing for the manufacturer and that will take you to a page listing more of their product.

Have fun and stay safe on the snow~
